The Smooth Stepper is a motion control device that connects to the USB port of a computer. It accepts commands from Mach3™, and produces very high quality pulse trains for motion control.
At this time it works with Mach3™ from Artsoft Controls only. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is planned, which will allow you to control the SmoothStepper with your own software. Offering the equivalent of two 25 pin parallel ports, the Smooth stepper has plenty of room for connecting limit switches, MPG's, and additional inputs and outputs.
